The scala section displays the version of the Scala compiler scalac -version.

This section is displayed only within Scala projects, meaning:

  • Upsearch finds .scalaenv or .sbtenv files.
  • Upsearch finds a .metals folder.
  • Contains any other file with *.sbt or *.scala extension
